We saw a need in the fitness community on the central Oregon coast. So, we answered. At the heart of Ballast Gym is community, an atmosphere for all ages and fitness levels to come together with one goal. To do better and be better.
Meet the Owners
Tyler Welke and Lorin Lynch took over ownership of the former Muscle Studio on September 8, 2022. They have poured their hearts and souls into revamping this fitness community space. Tearing down walls, repainting, reflooring, remodeling bath/shower facilities, bringing in top of the line equipment, and installing climate control. They have brought your a space to meet all your fitness needs.
Tyler Welke is a long time Newport resident and fisherman. He finds peace in the gym and inspires and mentor's others with his fitness lifestyle.
Lorin Lynch is also a long time Newport resident and owns TruNorth roofing company. Lorin is former special ops, a HIIT instructor, personal trainer, and mentor.
